Women health and hygiene session at IIMT BY care trust

Menstruation is an integral part of a female body and menstrual hygiene is one of the major health concerns of a woman. Care Trust in association with For Me care and IIMT Greater Noida, organized a menstrual health and hygiene seminar for the students of IIMT Greater Noida in order to aware them of the essentials of the menstrual cycle. An interactive awareness seminar was conducted where students took great interest and initiatives. The seminar included a demonstration of the usage of menstrual cups and its advantages; menstrual taboos and myths were discussed and busted; a discussion about the diseases that can be caused due to lack of menstrual hygiene and their preventive measures was held. The session concluded with an interactive and fruitful question & answer round with the students and teachers.
