Menstruation is an integral part of a female body and menstrual hygiene is one of the major health concerns of a woman. Care Trust in association with For Me care and Juris Consult organized a menstrual health and hygiene seminar for the employees and spouses of NCRTC in order to aware them about the essentials of menstrual cycle. An interactive awareness seminar was conducted where students took great interest and initiatives. The seminar included a demonstration of the usage of menstrual cups and their advantages; menstrual taboos and myths were discussed and busted; a discussion about the diseases that can be caused due to lack of menstrual hygiene and their preventive measures was held. The session concluded with a interactive and fruitful question & answer round with the employees and spouses.
